BOULDER CITY, Nev. – The National Park Service (NPS) has issued a prospectus for the Willow Beach Black Canyon Concession Contract in Lake Mead National Recreation Area. This business opportunity provides a prospective operator a chance to deliver a high-quality, full-service marina experience in a truly one-of-a-kind location. Facilities and services include guided raft trips, reservations for canoe/kayak trips in Black Canyon and security escort to Hoover Dam security zone launch site, 90 slip marina, café, retail store, 19 full hookup RV sites, 9 tent camping sites, fishing dock, fuel (water & land), pump out stations (water & land), and boat towing service.
Offerors must notify the NPS of their intent to submit a proposal no later than December 27, 2024. Proposals must meet the terms described in the prospectus and be received no later than 12:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) on January 28, 2025. Proposals must be submitted electronically by the deadline, following instructions in the prospectus to be evaluated and considered for award of the contract.
The NPS will hold a site visit on October 16, 2024. Anyone interested in attending the site visit must RSVP by 12:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) October 15, 2024, to Kimberley Gagliolo, Commercial Services Specialist, at kim_gagliolo@nps.gov. Additional information is required and provided in the prospectus. Additionally, any questions regarding this business opportunity must be received in writing no later than 12:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) on October 23, 2024, to Kimberley Gagliolo at the email above.
