Skagway – Join Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park for Junior Ranger Day on Thursday, July 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Moore Homestead lawn, located on 5th Avenue and Spring Street. All events are free and open to the public.
Junior Rangers can learn, explore, and protect our national parks. Activities will include obstacle courses, dancing, arts and crafts, and much more.
Junior Ranger Day is held in partnership with the American Bald Eagle Association, Dahl Memorial Clinic, Skagway Fire Department, Jilkaat Kwaan Heritage Dancers, Skagway Public Library, Skagway Traditional Council, Taiya Inlet Watershed Council, Sheldon Museum, Skagway Museum, Alaska Geographic, Friends of the Klondike Corridor, and Parks Canada. From neighbors down the street to neighbors across country lines, we are grateful to our park partners for helping us provide this wonderful stewardship opportunity for children in Skagway and surrounding communities. Don’t miss this day of unforgettable fun!
