![]() Hot Springs National Park and Eastern National will host a book signing for Richard Ledbetter, author of Witness Tree 1910, on Saturday, February 11th, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Bathhouse Row Emporium, located inside the historic Lamar bathhouse. Ledbetter will read an excerpt from his new book starting at 10 a.m. Witness Tree 1910 is a historical novel, written about the post-Civil War era. It is the sequel to Ledbetter's first novel, The Branch and the Vine. Both novels follow the lives of the same characters through the Reconstruction Era that follow the Civil War. Witness Tree 1910 reveals numerous historical details and little known facts about the early settlements of the South Arkansas region, from Hot Springs to Pine Bluff. |
