Election of 1860 - student vodcasts

In 2010, forty-seven students at Harpers Ferry Middle School continued a new tradition of making video podcasts (or vodcasts) for Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. Based on their hands-on experiences in Harpers Ferry National Historical Park and analysis of primary source documents, the students served as writers, editors, photographers, costumers, videographers, and directors to produce five mini-documentaries, depicting their understanding of the Election of 1860.

These vignettes or vodcasts are now part of the park’s official interpretation and available for you to view, download, and enjoy while in the park or at home.
