War Comes to Harpers Ferry - Student Developed Vodcasts

Between October 2010 and April 2011, 59 students from Harpers Ferry Middle School volunteered over 1500 hours with Harpers Ferry National Historical Park to complete six vodcasts (mini-movies) about the year 1861. Based on their hands-on experiences in the park and analysis of primary source documents, the students served as writers, editors, photographers, costumers, videographers, and directors to produce this third installment of student-developed movies.

These vignettes or vodcasts are now part of the park’s official interpretation and available for you to view, download, and enjoy while in the park or at home.
