Ranger-Led Education Programs

Ranger-led education programs are offered Monday-Friday year-round, depending on staff availability. These programs must be scheduled in advance. Demand for ranger-led education programs is high, and requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The maximum number of students allowed per program is 35. Larger groups can be divided into smaller sized groups to receive programs if enough staff is available to provide them. Most ranger-led education programs take place outside in the historic Lower Town of Harpers Ferry. Program duration is about one hour in length.

All ranger-led education programs are aligned with curriculum standards in West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland.
