Did you ever want to be a park ranger? If you are between the ages of 13-130, now you can. Just pick up a Not-So-Junior Ranger card at the Sugarlands, Oconaluftee, or Cades Cove visitor centers, attend three of the ranger-led programs listed in the park's free Smokies Guide newspaper or posted on the Schedule of Events. Get the rangers leading those programs to sign your card, then take your completed card back to the visitor center to get your free patch and become an official Not-So-Junior Ranger! Also, check out our Junior Ranger program for kids ages 5-12. |
