The National Park Service (NPS) announces the release of a prospectus to solicit concession contract proposals to provide gasoline and diesel fuel, retail, food and beverage, recreational vehicle park, campground, showers, guided UTV and ATV tours, and UTV or ATV rentals at the Hite area of Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. The effective date of the next concession contract is expected to be November 1, 2021.

The prospectus explains the business opportunity and the terms and conditions under which the NPS will award the concession contract. There will be a site visit for organizations interested in bidding on this opportunity on June 28, 2021. The site visit provides interested organizations an overview of the concession operation along with a tour of the concession facilities assigned to the concessioner under the draft contract. To attend the site visit, pre-registration is required no later than June 25, 2021. To pre-register, email Heidie Grigg ([e-mail]), GLCA Chief of Commercial Services, no later than 4 p.m. (Arizona time) on June 25, 2021. 

If you have questions about information in this prospectus, you must submit your questions via email to Jennifer Parker ([e-mail]), Regional Office Chief of Commercial Services, no later than 4 p.m. (Mountain Daylight Savings Time) on July 8, 2021.

If you plan to submit a proposal in response to this solicitation, you must email Jennifer Parker ([e-mail]) no later than 4 p.m. (Mountain Daylight Savings Time) on July 28, 2021. The Service will not accept proposals from entities that do not provide notice on or before that date.

Any proposal must be received by 4 p.m. (Mountain Daylight Savings Time) on August 18, 2021, in order to be evaluated and considered for award of the concession contract.
