Due to parking and space limitations this dedication ceremony is open to invited guests and invited media only. The program will include remarks from Superintendent Dan Kimball, a ribbon-cutting, and a special sunset tram tour provided by Shark Valley Tram Tours.

The new facility combines the operations of three partners into a single structure: Everglades National Park (visitor center), Florida National Parks Association (sales outlet), and Shark Valley Tram Tours (sales and bicycle rentals).

The new facility was built to meet the standards of the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system to meet the requirements for silver certification (although it has not been officially certified).

Please RSVP for the sunset tram by March 6, 2014 by responding to this email or calling 305-221-8455.
