Hole-in-the-Donut In Lieu Fee/Mitigation Credit Reservation Portal

Learn and Explore

Welcome! Everglades National Park manages an In-Lieu Fee and Mitigation Bank that can provide compensatory mitigation credits to the public. If you are in the process of obtaining one or more regulatory permits due to unavoidable impacts to wetlands as a result of your development activities, you are in the right place. This site provides information on how to complete an application for and reserve Palustrine Freshwater Emergent mitigation credits.

Note: Applications can not be submitted directly through this webpage. Applicants must download, fill out and email forms to ever_hid_credit_application@nps.gov.

Credit Availability Status:

At this time, the HID project does not have available credits. We are working to have additional credits released to the HID project in July and November, 2018. We are not keeping a waiting list.

In anticipation of the release of additional credits, we will accept applications on July 17th, 2018 beginning at 8:00 am. Reservation requests received before 8:00 am, the morning of July 17th will not be processed. We expect demand to exceed the availability of credits. We will process requests for reservations received on July 17th, on an individual basis once additional credits have been released to the HID. We process reservations according to the order in which we receive applications in our email inbox. We will not process a group request for multiple reservations; each request must pertain to an individual project.
Check this website often for credit availability status updates, or click on the “Subscribe” button above to receive notifications of changes in credit availability.
