In 1953--after a hiatus during World War II--Dwight and Mamie Eisenhower brought the beloved Easter Egg Roll tradition back to the South Lawn of the White House.
To commemorate the original Eisenhower Easter Egg Roll, each year, Eisenhower National Historic Site hosts an Easter Egg Roll event. this event encourages young visitors and families to engage in fun-filled activities and learn about Eisenhower family Easter traditions at the White House.
The fourth annual Eisenhower National Historic Site Easter Egg Roll will take place on March 27, 2027. Information and updates will be posted on this webpage and on Eisenhower NHS social media pages leading up to the event.
