Along your journey in Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, you might encounter wayside exhibit signs that may describe:

Several of these wayside exhibits have been audio described and added to our website as audio files, so you may enjoy them as you travel. Please download these audio files before you begin your trip, since cell phone service and internet access can be limited in many locations.

New Jersey Side of Park:

Kittatinny Point

An orientation to the Kittatinny Point area is located in front of the restrooms at the picnic pavilion. Additional safety information is also in this location.

Pennsylvania Side of Park:

Hialeah Picnic Area

An orientation to the Hialeah area is located in front of the restroom at the south end of the picnic area. Additional safety information is also in this location.

Smithfield Beach

Along the George W. Childs Park Trail at the first overlook of Factory Falls, learn about the impact Hemlock woolly adelgids have on the trees and what the park is doing to save the hemlock trees.

Along the Dingmans Creek Trail just past the Silverthread Falls, learn about the ways hemlock trees create a micro-climate.
