Length: 2.5 miles, one-way Shortly after the trail begins, the Hamilton Ridge Trail intersects the Pioneer Trail from the right. The Pioneer Trail passes an old farmstead, overgrown fields and stone fences as it gradually works its way towards the river. After passing close enough to the river to provide fleeting glimpses, the trail begins to climb towards the top of the ridge, past an old lime kiln, and finally joining Hamilton Ridge Trail. For a loop hike, head south (right) on the Hamilton Ridge Trail to rejoin the Pioneer Trail in 1.6 miles. Other Information: restrooms are located in Millbrook Village |
