Delaware Water Gap National recreation Area Superintendent John J. Donohue announces a series of special programs and events for the month of October. “Autumn is a spectacular time in the park,” Donahue said. “These events offer some wonderful opportunities to get outside, learn about the park, and enjoy all we have to offer.” All programs are open to the public. The event includes tours of the eighteenth-century Van Campen Inn presented by costumed guides, music provided by the Colonial Musketeers Fife and Drum Corps, colonial crafts, re-enacted encampment and hikes to Fort Shapanack, the slave cemetery, and Shapanack cemetery. Octivities at Millbrook Village October 24, 2015, 3pm – 8pm Millbrook Village Celebrate the season with nineteenth-century traditions.
