Contact: Michael Cuff, Park Ranger, (570) 426-2417 Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area Superintendent John J. Donahue invites the public to a special photography workshop dedicated to Dad on June 19. This Father’s Day, capture family memories and sharpen your photography skills while exploring historic Millbrook Village on the NJ side of the park. As part of the park’s continuing series of photography workshops highlighting the beauty and diversity of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, park ranger and photographer Michael Cuff will offer a morning of photographic fun, learning, and memory making. Work on skills such as macro, architectural, and portrait photography while making special memories that will last forever. The free workshop will run from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and will be held rain or shine. All skill levels and camera types are welcome.
Millbrook Village is a re-created historic village that is rich in photographic opportunities. Modeled after a typical mid-nineteenth century farming community of the area, village buildings, including homes, workshops, barns, and outbuildings are open for the public to tour, learn, and enjoy every Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer, from 10 am to 4 pm. Millbrook Village is located approximately 12 miles from NJ Exit 1 of Route 80, on Old Mine Road in Warren County, New Jersey.
