Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area Superintendent John J. Donahue announces a series of special programs and events taking place this year in celebration of the National Park Service’s Centennial. In 2016, the NPS wants you to get out and Find Your Park, whether in your backyard, the neighboring city, or across the country.
“Park employees will kick off our Centennial celebrations with an Earth Day ceremony and time capsule burial on April 22,” said Donahue. “Each month, we will have at least one featured program to encourage people to find their park at Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area so that we can connect with and create the next generation of park visitors, supporters, and advocates.”
