Denali National Park and Preserve is offering the opportunity for Commercial Dog Sled trips permitted through a Commercial Use Authorization (CUA) as a one-year temporary trial. This includes guided dog sled passenger expeditions and guided sled supported ski trips.

Trips must begin and end in BC Units 61 (Stampede) and 62 (Southeast Stampede) or Units 16 (Windy Creek) and 70 (Bull River). Overnight trips may also begin from Park Headquarters, Mountain Vista, and Kantishna/Wonder Lake.

Interested operators must apply using the CUA Online Application and Reporting System between January 21 and February 4. Review the Dog Sledding Stipulations and the stipulations applicable to all CUAs prior to applying.

The permits are not competitive and will be valid through December 31, 2026. For more information on CUAs and applications, visit the park website.
