2019 Youth Conservation Corps (YCC)YCC crew members on Cumberland Island will work on a variety of projects that will help conserve and protect island resources as well as improve the experience and understanding for visitors to the National Seashore. Potential projects for the summer include cultural landscape restoration, trail maintenance and bridge construction, wilderness restoration, curatorial assistance, and natural resource conservation. The program also includes an educational component where participants will be introduced to the island’s rich history and fantastic natural environment.
