City of Rocks National Reserve

Open every day, year round. The shared Visitor Center for both City of Rocks National Reserve and Castle Rocks State Park is located in the historic town of Almo. The Visitor Center is open 7 days a week from mid-April to mid-October, and Tuesday through Saturday during the winter months. There is no fee to enter City of Rocks National Reserve.

Castle Rocks State Park

Open every day, year round 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Open 24 hours for registered guests of The Lodge, Bunkhouse, and Willow Glamping Yurt.

Castle Rocks State Park requires a $5 motor-vehicle entrance fee or valid Idaho State Parks Passport.

Smoky Mountain Campground Unit:
Located near the east entrance of City of Rocks. Open every day, year round from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, 24 hours for registered campground guests.
