Sulphur, Okla.– Join park rangers on Saturday, December 17th for the Christmas Bird Count and on Thursday, December 22nd for “Winter Tales” at the Travertine Nature Center.
The Christmas Bird Count will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 17th at the Travertine Nature Center. Participants will sign up as volunteers and are welcome to stay just for a few hours in the morning or to continue into the afternoon. They should come prepared to spend most of the time outdoors, no matter the weather conditions.
“Winter Tales” will be on Thursday, December 22nd from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Travertine Nature Center. There will be stories by the fireplace, craft activities, and each child will each receive an item to take home.
