Cold Springs Campground moving to reservations only

Sulphur, Okla.– Cold Springs Campground will be available by reservation only starting this summer. Reservations are expected to fill quickly for the 2022 season and visitors are strongly encouraged to plan ahead.

Reservations for the entire summer season will be available starting on April 1, 2022. Campsites may be reserved up to the day of arrival, if there are any spaces still available. Reservations can be made online through recreation.gov or by calling their toll-free number, 1-877-444-6777 (TDD 1-877-833-6777).

“Cold Springs Campground has always been one of our most popular areas,” says Superintendent Bill Wright, “and over the last few years it has been filling up nearly every weekend. This will allow visitors to plan ahead and know if they will be able to camp there before they even leave their houses.”

Rock Creek Campground, located one and a half miles from Cold Springs Campground, will still be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
