Chickasaw NRA to host holiday open house on Tuesday, December 21st

Sulphur, Okla.– Chickasaw National Recreation Area will host a holiday open house at the Travertine Nature Center on Tuesday, December 21^st from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Come celebrate the first day of winter and the magic of the holiday season with the National Park Service. Children will have the opportunity to say hello to a certain jolly guest. (Ho! Ho! Ho!) A ranger will be outside on the patio to point out constellations and other objects of interest in the sky on the longest night of the year. Each family that attends will receive a book to take home and read together.
