Sulphur, Okla.– Chickasaw National Recreation Area’s annual Historic Candlelight Tour is scheduled for October 15th and 16th. In order to allow for a safer experience during the pandemic, this year’s tour will be self-guided and will not feature actors.
Visitors are asked to allow themselves at least a half hour to walk along candlelit paths of Flower Park to see displays of moments from the park’s history. These scenes, which will be illuminated from 7pm to 9pm both nights, give visitors the opportunity to learn more about how the park came to be the place they know and enjoy today.
Parking is available at Vendome Well, with overflow parking available at Lincoln Bridge, Pavilion Springs, and Hillside Springs.
