Sulphur, Okla.– Chickasaw National Recreation Area is pleased to announce the annual Bedtime Stories event, which will take place on Thursday, December 19th at 7:00 pm at the Travertine Nature Center. Children will have the opportunity to listen to winter themed nature stories read by National Park Service rangers and Chickasaw Nation park guides. Hot chocolate will be provided and a certain jolly guest will make a special appearance. (Ho! Ho! Ho!)
This free event starts at 7:00 pm in the Travertine Nature Center lobby. Children are encouraged to come wearing their coziest pajamas. This holiday event is held in association with the Sulphur Chamber of Commerce and Western National Parks Association (WNPA). Come celebrate the coming start of winter and the magic of the holiday season with the National Park Service!
