Call for Candlelight Tour Volunteers at Chickasaw National Recreation Area

Sulphur, Okla. – On Friday, December 6th and Saturday, December 7th, 2019, Chickasaw National Recreation Area staff and volunteers will present the Historic Candlelight Tour in the Flower Park. In preparation for the tours, we are searching for volunteer assistance. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities as actors, tour guides, and to work behind the scenes. For more information on being a part of this festive event, call (580) 622-7234.  

Over a thousand luminaries along trails and stream sets a magical scene at the beginning of the holiday season. Tour groups led by a guide will enjoy an evening walking tour as actors in period costumes present ten scenes from the early history of the park. The event is free and reservations to attend can be made beginning November 1st.
