Fire Restrictions

What is Open?

Roads: Northview Overlook is the only overlook accessible via Highway 143 and the town of Brian Head. For live updates on road closures and conditions, visit the Utah Department of Transportation website.
Facilities: None.
Snowshoeing and Crosscountry skiing: Open, yet may need more snow.

Road and Facility Closures

Roads: Highway 148 (the scenic road through Cedar Breaks), is closed for the winter.

Facilities: The temporary Information Center and Zion Forever Project park store are closed for the season and will reopen spring 2024. The historic 1937 Log Cabin is closed to all access due to construction at Point Supreme Overlook. The Point Supreme Campground is closed for the season and will reopen spring 2024.

Overlooks: The Point Supreme Overlook is closed to all access year-round through 2023 due to construction activities.
Trails: Closed to hiking for the season.
