Fire Restrictions

Stage One fire restrictions have been implemented at the park. For complete infomation on fire restricitons, please visit our Wildland Fire page.

What is Open?

Roads: Cedar Breaks Scenic Byway (Hwy. 148) and Rim Road (the road through the park) are open.
Facilities: The temporary Information Center and Zion Forever Project park store are open.
Trails: All trails are open for the season.

Road and Facility Closures

Roads: There are no road closures at this time.
Facilities: The historic 1937 Log Cabin is closed to all access due to construction at Point Supreme Overlook.
Overlooks: The Point Supreme Overlook is closed to all access year-round through 2022 due to construction activities.

    Follow this link to the Utah DOT's seasonal road closures page, if Hwy. 148 is closed, the road through the park is closed.

    Winter Access
