What is Open?

Snowmobile Trail: The trail is open, please keep in mind snowmobiles must remain on-trail at all times while in the park.
Winter Recreation: Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are open in the park.

Road and Facility Closures

Roads: Cedar Breaks Scenic Byway (Hwy. 148) and Rim Road (the road through the park) are closed through May 2022.
Facilities: All information centers, restrooms, and the campground are closed for the winter, but will reopen early summer 2022.
Overlooks: The Point Supreme Overlook is closed to all access year-round through 2022 due to construction activities.
Trails: Closed to hiking for the season.

    Is the road open?

    Follow this link to the Utah DOT's seasonal road closures page, if Hwy. 148 is closed, the road through the park is closed.

    Winter Access
