Cedar Breaks National Monument would like to correct the previously issued press release concerning the implementation dates for the increased fees. Beginning on May 24, 2024, the monument will increase entrance and campground amenity fees. The last significant change in fees occurred in 2018. The increased fees will provide additional revenue to fund operations and deferred maintenance projects. Entrance fees will change from a Group 1 per person rate to the Group 2 per person, per motorcycle, per vehicle structure. The table below provides the Group 2 entrance fees. The monument will also increase the Expanded Amenity Fee (EAF) for the Pt. Supreme Campground adjusting for inclusion of showers and inflation.Fee Schedule for Group 2: Effective May 24, 2024

The 30-day public comment period on the fee changes occurred in October through the Planning, Environment, and Public Comment (PEPC) website. This news release is part of the 30-day notice of the proposed changes to occur.
Recent projects completed at Cedar Breaks National Monument using FLREA funds include trail maintenance and repair, visitor programs and activities, and barrier fence replacement at Pt. Supreme. Future funds will continue to support facility operations and assist with additional visitor services such as improvements to interpretive exhibits, signage, ranger programming, and the ability to provide park maps for visitor enjoyment.
In 2022, Cedar Breaks National Monument visitors spent an estimated $50 million in local gateway regions while visiting the monument. These expenditures supported a total of 653 jobs and $62.2 million in economic output in local gateway economies surrounding the monument.
