The National Park Service (NPS) has released a prospectus for the award of up to 18 new concession contracts to operate Guided Interpretive Whitewater River Tours within Canyonlands National Park and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. The current concession contracts for this service will expire on December 31, 2016. It is anticipated that the new 10-year concession contacts will take effect January 1, 2017. The NPS made notification on the Federal Business Opportunity website (http://www.fbo.gov) and issued the prospectus on April 28, 2016.
