MANTEO, N.C. — The National Park Service is accepting bids on a federal government contract to build new Cape Hatteras National Seashore employee housing in Buxton, North Carolina. Interested businesses have until 5 p.m. Oct. 2, 2023, to submit bids via the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) website.

• Summary of Work: The project includes the site-adapted design, construction, demolition and supervision to replace 13 existing 3-bedroom housing units with 12 new conventional single family 3 and 4-bedroom housing units.
