MANTEO, N.C. — Cape Hatteras National Seashore has temporarily closed a small section of beach adjacent to G.A. Kohler Court in Rodanthe, due to exposed hazards, such as house-related septic systems, wires, pipes and broken concrete parking pads.
Hazards may also be present in other areas of the beach in Rodanthe, so beachgoers should use caution throughout the beaches adjacent to the village.
