On Monday November 6, 2017, Superintendent David Hallac and Cape Hatteras National Seashore (Seashore) staff will host an information session about the Seashore’s Commercial Use Authorization program, which permits businesses to provide commercial visitor services.
The meeting will take place on Monday, November 6 from 2:30 to 3:30 pm at the Nags Head Planning Department - Police Training Room at 5401 South Croatan Highway Nags Head, NC. Meeting participants should park on the back row of the parking lot and enter at the southeast corner of the building. The Police Training Room is located on the first floor.
Superintendent Hallac and Seashore staff welcome all interested parties to attend.
The meeting will begin with a presentation from 2:30 to 3:00 pm, followed by a Q & A session, discussion, and networking.
The presentation will provide an overview of the Seashore’s Commercial Services program with an emphasis on Guided Fishing Services and newly-added Guided Waterfowl Hunting.

Important note: Before conducting commercial activities in the Seashore, businesses or individuals must submit a Commercial Use Authorization (CUA) application, receive approval from the Seashore superintendent, and have a copy of the CUA present at all times while conducting business in the Seashore. Businesses and individuals may not conduct commercial activities in the Seashore without a valid CUA or in a manner inconsistent with the terms of the CUA.
