Help keep Cape Hatteras National Seashore clean and safe for residents and visitors!

The National Park Service and North Carolina Coastal Federation are hosting a soundside cleanup on Hatteras Island on August 26 from 9:00-11:00 am. Meet staff at the Haulover Day Use Area along NC Highway 12, between Buxton and Avon villages.

Bring leather gloves, water, snacks, and sunscreen. Wear appropriate clothing, including closed-toe water shoes and hats. Trash bags will be provided. Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian with them.
