MOAB, Utah — From September 24 to September 25, Arches National Park will partner with the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics to host special programming for the public and Moab community. Earlier this year, Leave No Trace selected Arches National Park as a 2021 Hot Spot location to address impacts from increasing visitation. The Hot Spot program identifies high visitor use areas that can benefit from a blend of educational programs and service projects.
The National Park Service and Leave No Trace will offer programs on the following dates:
Friday, September 24
-
4 to 7 p.m. at the Moab Information Center—Leave No Trace, the National Park Service, and other land management agencies will partner with Canyonlands Natural History Association to celebrate National Public Lands Day. Stop by the patio outside Moab Information Center for information, live music, and more.
-
5 to 6 p.m. on the Moab Museum lawn—Park staff and Leave No Trace representatives will join the Moab Festival of Science during the “Moab Mingle” on the Moab Museum lawn.
Saturday, September 25
