Notes: "In the year of Our Lord, 1778, on the 17th of the month of November, Juan Bautista Cornelo, the legitimate son of Francisco Cornelo and Nicolasa Legarra, probably in union and communion with our Holy Mother Church, returned his soul to God on the mountain. It was noted that he drowned in the water at the feet of his mother who had just finished giving birth to him. Because of the aforementioned probability, his body was buried on the 18th of the said month in the church of this mission of San Jose de Tumacácori, for which truth I sign on the said day, month and year as above. Father Joachín Belarde, Minister of Doctrine for His Majesty”
