Entrance Passes

An entrance pass is not required to access Andersonville National Historic Site.

Other National Park Service sites may require an entrance pass or fee. Depending on your trip plans, an interagency pass may save you money.

 

The park is always free!
Andersonville National Historic Site has no entrance fee. There are no fees for park interpretive programs or for entrance to the National Prisoner of War Museum.

Andersonville National Historic Site does not carry America the Beautiful Passes. You may acquire or purchase any of these passes at any National Park Service site that charges a fee. A list of parks that carry the passes for sale can be found online at the National Park Service's Places to Get Interagency Passes page. Passes can also be purchused online through the USGS Store.

 

Reservations and Special Tours
Organized groups of fifteen people or more requesting interpretive programs especially for their group must make reservations at least two weeks in advance. Please call the park for details. More information can also be found on our Guided Tours page.

 

Special Use Permits
The Special Use Permit authorizes activities that benefit an individual, group or organization, rather than the public at large: and that require written authorization and management control in order to protect park resources and the public interest.

Examples include: ceremonies, memorializations, commercial filming and/or photography, or special assemblies, require a special use permit be acquired in advance.
