Visitor Maps

As you learn about the national lakeshore we hope you find this map collection helpful. Regional Map (84K jpeg), East Area Map (155kb gif), West Area Map (168kb jpeg).

To print the complete set of three national lakeshore maps, use standard 8 1/2" x 11" paper. Print in the landscape position for the east and middle unit map and in the portrait position for the west unit map.

Park vegetation maps

The national lakeshore has more recently developed a small set of maps that shows the general park boundaries with associated units labeled. Also, there are maps available which show vegetation coverage for the east and west units. There are small maps of the east and west units which show various color coded vegetation types without a legend. There are also larger vegetation maps of the east and west units which show the legend in detail.
