Injured Ankle in The Narrows

On July 21, 2015 at 1747 hours, Zion dispatch received a report of a man in the Virgin River Narrows with a broken ankle. The injured male was reported to be somewhere between Orderville Canyon and Mystery Falls and slowly moving out on his own, but requesting assistance. Rangers began hiking up and contacted the patient on the Riverside Walk.The patient was transported by wheelchair to the Temple of Sinawava at 1958 hrs. The patient was given a ride to his vehicle in Springdale and refused further medical care.
