Eagle, AK – Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve re-opens to visitors today. Visitors can access public areas immediately while facilities and other public services are brought back online. Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve has been closed since October 1 due to the lapse in Congressional appropriations.

"We are excited happy to be back at work and welcome visitors to Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve," said Superintendent Greg Dudgeon. "Autumn is a particularly special season to enjoy all that Yukon-Charley Rivers has to offer."

Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve urges you to go explore the national parks of Alaska and discover these cherished lands that have been preserved for past, current, and future generations.

Welcome back home, America.
