Search & Rescue News: Head Injury from Slip at Lower Yosemite Fall

June 24, 2014 Posted by: Yosemite Search and Rescue
On the afternoon of June 19th, 2014, a boy was jumping across the boulders at Lower Yosemite Fall. He slipped and fell onto his head, suffering from serious head injuries. Even though the falls are diminishing in size, rocks are still slippery even when dry. This is the second very dangerous slip on rocks near Yosemite Falls in the last few weeks. Please stay on the trail.
