The 13th Biennial Scientific Conference on the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE) is accepting abstract submissions now through May 15, 2016.

The conference will be held October 4-6, 2016 at Jackson Lake Lodge in Moran, Wyoming and is open for registration. Full conference participant registration is $350 and is limited to 350 participants. Student registration rates, single day registration, and scholarships are available.

The Biennial Scientific Conference series is dedicated to highlighting the successes and challenges within the GYE. Since 1991, the conference has become the foremost scientific venue for researchers, conservation groups, and management partners with a shared interest in understanding the geologic, cultural, and biological resources of the region.

This year’s conference, titled Building on the Past, Leading into the Future, Sustaining the GYE in the Coming Century, is focused on deriving management lessons and applications from previous practices, recognizing trends, and anticipating future conservation needs in our quest to achieve one greater Yellowstone ecosystem. The conference will bring together scientists, managers, students, community members, and others interested in the management of the GYE to examine resource challenges from a variety of perspectives. The goal is to exchange science-based information relevant to management and to identify resource challenges that demand new research.
