The weather at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts is typical for the mid-Atlantic area. There are four seasons. The majority of visitation is during the summers, which can be hot and humid during the day and cooler at night.

There is no entrance fee at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts.

Ranger Station

The Ranger Station is located on the left side of the Main Gate to the Filene Center. Brochures, trail maps, and Junior Ranger books are available inside. Lost and Found can also be found here and retrieved during office hours.

 

Welcome to Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts!

Wolf Trap was established in 1966 and remains to be the only national park dedicated to the presenting the performing arts. The park is open every day with a few exception and limits. Visit Operating Hours & Seasons for additional information.

The two performing venues in the park; the Filene Center and Theatre-in-the-Woods, have performances from May through September. A full schedule of performances can be seen at the Wolf Trap Foundation site.
