Contact: Tau’Rean Taylor, 513-684-3262 Halloween Open House Date: Saturday, October 25, 2014 William Howard Taft National Historic Site will celebrate a Halloween Open House with free events. The house where William Howard Taft was born and grew up will be decorated to reflect the mid-Victorian period during the Halloween Celebration on October 25, 2014. Join a "Victorian visitor" for a look into the origins of the "Hallows Eve" celebration, and the 19th century traditions and customs surrounding this unearthly holiday. Visitors will enjoy arts &crafts. There will also be refreshments available at the Education Center. The event is free and open to the public. William Howard Taft National Historic Site is located at 2038 Auburn Avenue and is open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., tours of the house are available throughout the day. The park is closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Days. Call 513-684-3262 for accessibility assistance and information.
