Institutes and Field SchoolsDiscover White Sands! field school offers a mixture of outdoor field excursions along with classroom presentations all focused on the amazing gypsum dunes.
In partnership with New Mexico State University—Alamogordo, we are able to offer these field seminars for both children and adults. All courses take place at White Sands National Monument. Field seminars are taught in small groups, so interested individuals are advised to register as soon as possible before classes fill up.
Visit the New Mexico State University’s Community Education page for information about current Discover White Sands! programs. If no current programs are listed, please check back again at a later date.
