The Visitor Center is currently open 8:30am to 4:00pm, Wednesday through Sunday (winter 2024/2025 hours). The Visitor Center is the perfect starting point for your visit. Here, you can:

• Get detailed park information.
• Purchase your entrance pass.
• Explore exhibits on Whiskeytown’s natural and cultural history.
• Inquire about gold panning opportunities.
• Buy books, maps, and postcards at the bookstore, operated by the Western National Parks.
