Voyageurs National Park Seeking Water Salvage Services

INTERNATIONAL FALLS, MN: Voyageurs National Park is in search of water salvage businesses that can conduct submerged vessel and other personal property recovery operations within park boundaries.

Some businesses already have the capability and authorization to provide towing, repairs, and recover grounded or partially submerged vessels in the park. However, there is no such service authorized in the park that can recover totally submerged vessels and other personal property (for example - recover a pickup truck from a lake bottom).

As a recognized commercial use authorization (CUA) holder in the park, this special service will help ensure public trust and safety by having the proper equipment, training, and insurance to conduct salvage operations. Providing these special services can help visitors from losing their personal property and can protect the park and environment by having a business quickly recover property that contains various harmful materials or chemicals that can leach into the water. 

Please help the park and its visitors by providing water salvage services! As a CUA holder, you have the full support of the park and your business will be advertised by the park.
