99th Birthday of the National Park Service

News Release Date: August 17, 2015 BEACH LAKE, PA – The National Park Service is turning 99 years old on August 25th and Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River wants you to join the party! Come to the park and experience the wild and scenic beauty of the National Parks in your own backyard. Discover the history of the area at the Zane Grey Museum, participate in our Take A Hike! program, or just come out and enjoy the beauty of the Delaware River.

In preparation for next year's big centennial celebration, the National Park Service is inviting everyone to Find Your Park. To encourage people to discover everything a park experience can be there is a list of 99 exciting ways to Find Your Park at the "Find Your Park" website at http://findyourpark.com/nps99 . Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River is a great place to try #63 –Raft down a river, #56 Join a trail clean-up, or #15 –Relax on the banks of a scenic river! Visitors can share their park experiences with their friends and family by posting on social media using the hashtag #FindYourPark.
