Verde Valley National Monuments to host Four Artists-In-Residence This Spring

Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot National Monuments will host four artists as part of our Artist in Residence program.  Talks, demonstrations, and performances will be each Friday at 10am.


March 8 – March 22: Cathy Clark, Textile Artist, of Show Low, AZ
Cathy will be at Tuzigoot for the duration of her residency and will give two talks on textiles and weaving on March 15^th at Tuzigoot and March 22^nd at Montezuma Castle
March 23 – April 7: Darius Nabors, 360 photographer and virtual reality specialist, of Charlottesville, VA
Darius will be in all our parks taking photos and creating virtual reality experiences of our trails. Join him for demonstrations on March 29^th at Tuzigoot, and April 5^th at Montezuma Castle
April 8 – April 19: Jim Schlett, Photographer, of Reston, VA
Jim will be on our trails throughout his residency taking photos and talking with visitors. His photography workshops will be on April 12^th at Tuzigoot and April 19^th at Montezuma Castle.
April 22 – April 30: Leah Bee, Painter and Musician, of Cornville, AZ
You may see Leah on our trails throughout her residency painting, writing or performing. Her musical performance will be on April 26 at the main overlook at Montezuma Well.
