Tuzigoot National Monument’s 3rd Annual Health and Wellness Fair Rescheduled for April 28th

Are you interested in quitting smoking? Do you want to try an easy guided hike? Are you looking to add some fun to your fitness routine? On Sunday, April 28th from 10am to 2pm, the National Park Service will host the 3^rd Annual Tuzigoot Health and Wellness Fair. This FREE event will allow the local community to connect with health and wellness professionals across the Verde Valley. We will host local fitness coaches, massage therapists, recreation guides, and medical professionals to help start your new year on a healthy path!
 
Visitors are welcome join in guided hikes held throughout the day. We will release a full schedule of hikes and classes closer to the date of the fair.
 
The first 200 visitors will receive a free tote bag. Every visitor will also be able to enter our raffle for a chance to win a prize bag from Western National Parks Association. This event is sponsored by Western National Parks Association, a nonprofit education partner of the National Park Service. Visitors' tax-free purchases in WNPA bookstores help WNPA provide direct support to 71 NPS units across the American West. More information can be found atwww.wnpa.org.
 
The Health and Wellness Fair is in coordination with Park Rx program which encourages doctors and patients to incorporate outdoor spaces into their treatment plans. For more information on Park Rx, visit www.parkrx.org.
