Tuzigoot Health and Wellness Fair Schedule of Speakers

Free health screenings, therapeutic massages, informational programs and other educational activities will highlight the Tuzigoot Health and Wellness Fair, October 15, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This free event will be held outdoors at Tuzigoot National Monument near Clarkdale, AZ.

Health and wellness experts from all over northern Arizona will offer screenings and information as part of a national initiative: "Healthy Parks, Healthy People". The goal of this program is to foster a healthy community through fitness, wellness screenings, and education.

Three prize packs will also be raffled off throughout the day to visitors who participate in a fitness scavenger hunt. We will also have guest speakers and demonstrations throughout the day. The schedule of speakers is as follows:

10:30–Waylon Pahona, Healthy Active Natives

11:30–Hot Yoga, Basic Poses and Benefits of Yoga

12:00–Town of Clarkdale, Emergency Preparedness

12:30–City of Cottonwood Rec Center, Fitness Class Demo

1:00–Ellen Griswold, Enjoy Nature Naturally

Some of the event sponsors include North Country Healthcare, Yavapai County Health Services, Hot Yoga, Whole Foods Market, and the Sedona School of Massage.
