![]() NPS image/Girimont Thomas Stone National Historic Site is one of four signers of the Declaration of Independence's homes protected as national parks. The park is situated in historic Southern Maryland, within an easy drive from Washington, D.C. The first capital of Maryland in St. Mary's City is a short drive to the southeast and the current capital, Annapolis, is a short drive to the northeast.
There is no fee to visit Thomas Stone National Historic Site.
