Thomas Stone National Historic Site is the only national park created solely for a Signer of the Declaration of Independence and is one of four signers homes protected as national parks. The park is situated in historic Southern Maryland, within an easy drive from our nation's capital. Besides Washington D.C. the first capital of Maryland in St. Mary's City is just a short drive to the southeast and the current capital, Annapolis, is just a short drive to the northeast.

Come walk the grounds, tour the restored house, and learn about Thomas Stone and how he played an extraordinary part in the founding of the United States.
