Thomas Stone National Historic Site is one of four signers of the Declaration of Independence's homes protected as national parks. The park is situated in historic Southern Maryland, within an easy drive from Washington, D.C. The first capital of Maryland in St. Mary's City is a short drive to the southeast and the current capital, Annapolis, is a short drive to the northeast.


2021 Hours of Operation

The Visitor Center and park grounds are open Thursday through Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Thomas Stone House remains closed at this time.
